Seaside Somnolence

West Beach Gulls
West Beach Gulls

Normal gull behaviour tends to  constant shrieking, pitched battles for food, harassing eagles and generally defecating over anything and anyone. If they’re relatively silent, they’re tiptoeing around looking for a handout or waiting impatiently to clean up picnic table scraps. However, on occasion even the noisiest beach denizens take a brief respite. These two appear almost meditative or perhaps dreaming of an ocean cruise with an all tuxedo seagull crew feeding them savoury tidbits on the aft deck.
